We like to keep our girls in a bonded pair, it doesn’t always work and we have one or two who like to be on their own. Most choose their pairing and we make every effort to keep them together and facilitate them to have kittens together… volume up 🥰🥰🥰🥰

We have carried out a few changes recently to our breeding programme. Annavar Coon Foggi has now been retired he will remain with us in the RedRose household, he is my son’s second favourite so we couldn’t rehome him 😂.. We have also welcomed two new boys- Ezra and Uthred to the RedRose breeding programme, more details are on our website. We are super excited about these boys 😆

Tiffany’s kittens, a bit more difficult getting photos now as they just want to play 🤩

We love getting updates of the kittens. This is Smokey - you may remember him as Black Smoke Boy 2 or Red Rose Storm from Sophie’s spring 2023 litter. He is now 15months old and 6kg! Thanks to his owner for sharing. Sophie is due kittens very shortly :)

Roo went to the vets for his boosters yesterday he’s quite used to going out for shows and took it all in his stride… I’m not sure I will be able to carry him if he gets much heavier though 😬

Did you know all our kittens are handled by our little people, from virtually day 1 they are helping with kitten weighing :). It is why I think the kittens turn out like teddy bears 😂. We said goodbye to the last of Sophie’s kittens yesterday and had a lovely catch up as they also have one of the kittens from Rapunzel’s 2021 litter. A lot of our kitten families come back for a second one ;) we caught up with Loki (Simba) who is now 3 years old and looks magnificent 😊

We had a great day at the Lancashire Cat Club show. We took Roo who gained his first Grand Premier, he was super chilled as always and seemed to enjoy all the excitement! It was Zonda’s first show, he was amazing at only 9 1/2 months and only just into the adult category he gained his first challenge certificate was first in his group against some much older cats and got Best of Breed and seconds in side classes of some big groups. We were so chuffed. He was a little unsure at first but soon settled in. Thank you to the show staff and judges and lovely catching up with our cat friends 🤩

Introducing Sophie’s Christmas litter! Sophie was due on Christmas Day and 7 in the morning on Christmas Day her kittens came :) she is such a fantastic mummy. We are keeping these kittens separate from the bigger ones as they are too little for the rough and tumble of the bigger ones :) I think we have three girls :)

Tiffany’s litter at 3 weeks, -they are a week younger than Rapunzel’s- the differences will become less apparent as they get older ☺️. I am pretty certain with their colours and genders.

I am still just sorting out whether they are smokes or tabbies, once I am sure I will start contacting those on the waiting list 🤩 We have recently had a lot of enquiries I plan to respond to these later in the week. Introducing Tiffany’s kittens. Two red silver boys, definitely a silver tabby boy, I think a brown tabby girl and another silver tabby I think! Some times the silver can be a bit slow to come in so I’ll know more in a few weeks :)

This is one of Tiffany’s kittens at 8 months. I think he looks fantastic, with such a magnificent ruff! We have repeated this mating and Tiffany has just had her kittens, more details to follow of her litter 😻

It’s been a busy week in the RedRose household. We welcomed Rapunzel’s beautiful litter, mum and babies all doing well. It’s a bit too early to know what we have but it looks like a few black smokes, cream smoke, a tortie and a couple of tabbies. More details to follow… 🤩

We’ve been without power for 24 hours. The cats thought the big comfy bed in front of the log-burner was very thoughtful and were happy to overlook the football bed covers- they much preferred the Guinea pigs 🤣

My excuse for not doing the chores today 🤣

Quite unbelievably they all got up on the cat tree and posed for me. I’ve never managed a group photo of the house cats 🤩
